These large, oval, bumpy slugs emerge from hiding after dark at low tide to crawl and graze on the surface of damp but exposed-to-air rocks in the intertidal along the shore. At Kwaj, a good place to see them is on the rocks on the beach side of the old "bomb crater" quarry or on or around the concrete anti-tank blocks on the reef next to the commander's house. These were initially reported in the Marshall Islands from Bikini, Enewetak and Arno Atolls by Marcus (1965).
