So far we have seen this species sporadically and only at Kwajalein Atoll, where it is usually on shallow lagoon reefs and lagoon slopes. Many, 20 or more specimens, were found on Halimeda algae laying egg masses on 7 December 2008. This species has gone back and forth between the genera Elysia and Pattyclaya, and there is still some disagreement about where it belongs. Specimens vary from white to light green, but always seem to have narrow pustules on the rhinophores and a middorsal hump in the parapodia.
With egg mass on Halimeda.
The one below was in a Kwajalein lagoon Halimeda patch at 8m depth on 3 October 2011.
