This page contains the most of the Sacoglossans we have seen at Kwajalein. Sacoglossans are all herbivores, feeding on marine algae, and are sometimes commonly referred to as "sap-sucking seaslugs." Many of the groups, such as the Volvatella, Elysia, Cyerce and most of the Limapontiidae have variable species that are often difficult to tell apart. We have tried to err on the side of splitting off variations that might be the same species on the assumption it is easier to keep from losing data by too generously spitting species than mistakenly lumping multiple species into one.
