Elysia nealae? Ostergaard, 1955

Not only is the identification of these animals uncertain, it is possible there may be more than one species represented. They all share the same habitat of lagoon shallow Halimeda patches, where they tend to sit at the base of the algae clumps and cover themselves with a thin layer of sand. Several measured specimens have ranged from 13 to 18mm. It is also similar to Elysia sp. 15 in Gosliner et al (1980).

Some specimens are much lighter in color.
