Thuridilla kathae Gosliner, 1995
15mm

With then exception of a bit more orange on the foot, this species matches well Thuridilla kathae. The first specimen below was found and photographed by Marissa Brown in a Kwajalein shallow reef quarry at night. Subsequent specimens were all found in shallow water, less than about 3m maximum.

Another photo by Jay Lord shows more of the animal's side.

Another was in the Kwajalein reef quarry in February 2016.

This one crawled out of an algae sample brought in from Kwajalein lagoon.

A 5 to 7mm specimen rearing up on its tail, photographed by Christina Sylvester in a Kwajalein reef quarry.

The species has also been recorded from Majuro Atoll by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren and by John and Lynette Flynn..

Thanks to John and Lynette Flynn for pointing out the ID.
