Phyllidiopsis krempfi Pruvot-Fol, 1957
75mm

We have seen three of what we are calling Phyllidiopsis krempfi. The two specimens from Bonegi, Guadalcanal, on 26 August 1987 are figured in the first two photos below. A smaller, lighter pink specimen at bottom was found at Twin Tunnels, Nggela, on 1 April 1994. These seem closer to the figure with the original description in Brunckhorst (1993) than many specimens that are usually identified as this species.
