Prodotia lannumi Schwengel, 1950

Prodotia lannumi is uncommon on lagoon,
pinnacle and seaward reefs. The shell of this species is very similar to that
of Prodotia iostoma,
with the most visible difference the purplish background color of the latter
species. These species could probably use some DNA analysis to find out just
how different they are.
