Bursidae sp. 1
41mm
Bursidae
sp. 1 is rare in the
Marshalls, known from only a few specimens. All living specimens were found
under rocks or sand on the seaward reef at depths of 6 to 20m. Our specimens
are reminiscent of Lampasopsis
rhodostoma and Bursa
lamarckii but differ in external scupture, development of the anal
canal, aspects if the black aperture.
