Cerithium munitum Sowerby, 1855

This species is very common to abundant at Kwajalein, usually under rocks or in sandy ledges on lagoon and pinnacle reefs. Most shells are white, but some have patterns of brown or yellow.

The 11mm shell below appears to be a young C. munitum.
