Cerithium salebrosum Sowerby, 1855

Cerithium salebrosum is abundant in sand flats, sand pockets and sandy bottom surge channels on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs around Kwajalein.

The unusual individual below was photographed by Raphaël Forns at Ailuk Atoll. Despite this species' abundance at Kwajalein, I don't think I saw any there that were not all white.
