Zafrona pleuriferoides K. & D. Monsecour, 2018
7.45mm

This recently described columbellid is common in sediment samples brought up from about 61m on the seaward reef, and has also been found under rocks as shallow as 13m in the same areas. It is similar in size and shape to what we are calling Zafrona cf pleuriferoides but differs in color pattern. It is not clear if they are different and if so, which (if either) is the real Z. pleuriferoides.
