Conus polongimarumai Kosuge, 1980
Polongimarumai cone,
19mm
Conus
polongimarumai is rare in the Marshalls, at least at diving depths.
The few specimens we have seen were all empty shells brought up in bags of rubbly
grunge from caves and overhangs at around 60m on the leeward seaward reef.
We currently do not have a photo of the living animal.
