Vexillum leucozonias (Deshayes, 1834)
21.1mm

Vexillum leucozonias is moderately common, found under rocks on lagoon pinnacles and the seaward reef, but mostly in Halimeda algae patches along lagoon reefs. They can be seen from about 6 to at least 20m.

At first we were not sure who was eating who, but upon close examination, the Vexillum leucozonias (left) was eating the Vexillum roseum (right).
