Vexillum leucozonias is
moderately common, found under rocks on lagoon pinnacles and the seaward reef,
but mostly in Halimeda algae patches along lagoon reefs. They can be
seen from about 6 to at least 20m.
At first we were not sure who was eating who, but upon close examination, the
Vexillum leucozonias (left) was eating the Vexillum
roseum (right).
