Vexillum sp. 46

This species was found in a lagoon Halimeda
patch at a depth of about 25m. In size and scuplture, it resembles
Vexillum aureolineatum
and could be a color form of that species. Vexillum sp. 46, however,
is darker and has a distinct darker band just below the suture not present in
V. aureolineatum.
