Talparia talpa is rather rare in Hawaii. The two animals below were photographed at night at Pupukea, Oahu, in ledges at depths of about 12 to 15m. The subspecies found in Hawaii is Talparia talpa talpa.
We have also seen Talparia talpa in the Marshall Islands.
