Naria irrorata (Gray, 1828)
Bedewed cowry, 10-12.7mm

This cowry is very rare in the Marshalls. The first two specimens found at Kwajalein were empty shells on the leeward seaward reef slope at depths of about 15m. Subsequently, several empty shells washed ashore on lagoonside beaches of Roi-Namur Island at the northern tip of Kwajalein Atoll. To our knowledge, this species has not yet been found alive in the Marshalls. This species has been recorded from southern Polynesia into eastern Melanesia. 12.6mm, 1992
