This one was found by Christina Sylvester on sandy rubble in a Kwajalein reef quarry. It is similar in shape and in its orange tentacles to Apicalia echinasteri and may be a variation of that species, but we are currently keeping it separate due to differences in aspects of animal color. At this time, we have not seen the echinoderm host.
