Dentimargo cf ringicula (Sowerby, 1900)

This is a small species tentatively identified as Dentimargo ringicula. These have been found occasionally under rocks on shallow lagoon reefs as well as in sediiment samples from about 65m on the seaward reef. The color in the first photo is all on the animal; the shell is transparent to translucent to semi-opaque white.

Specimen from a sand sample brought up from more than 60m on the seaward slope.
