Imbricariopsis punctata (Swainson, 1821)

Imbricariopsis punctata is common on many lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs, and can also be found intertidally or in the reef quarries. It lives in sand, sometimes under a fine layer of sand over rock, at depths to at least 15m.
