Quasimitra cardinalis (Gmelin, 1791)

Quasimitra cardinalis is moderately common and can be found on lagoon and seaward reefs from the intertidal to at least 45m. They are usually in sand under rocks by day, and deposit their egg masses on the undersides of rocks sitting on sand.
