Pseudonebularia emaciata (Dautzenberg & Bouge, 1923)

We originally thought this might be a smooth and slender form of Pseudonebularia lienardi, but our specimen matches exactly the syntype of P. emaciata from the Museum Natural Histore National, Paris (lower photo below). There are distinct differences between these and our P. lienardi. The single specimen was found under a rock on the Kwajalein Atoll seaward reef at a depth of 9m. We have no photo of the living animal.
