Pseudonebularia rubiginea
(Adams, 1854)
45.6mm
Pseudonebularia rubiginea
is rare at Kwajalein. Considered by many authors a form of Pseudonebularia
fraga, the larger size and more orange coloration (rather than red-brown)
seem to warrant keeping it separate for now. Specimens have been found under
rocks or exposed at night on hard or rubble substrates on lagoon reefs at depths
of 6 to 16m
