Nassarius cf cinnamomeus (A. Adams, 1852)

This is another tentative identification. The shells are medium small, measuring around 18mm, and are usually found inhabited by fast-moving hermit crabs in seaward reef ledges and caves at night.

We currently have no photos of the living animal.
