Nassarius crematus (Hinds, 1844)

The small species we are calling Nassarius crematus is rare, known at Kwajalein from only a few specimens found along eastern lagoon reefs.

One pair of living animals was found with an egg mass deposited on algae.

Below is an empty shell measuring 9.05mm found on the east reef.
