This small species is rare, known only from a couple of empty shells brought up in sand samples from the seaward reef slope. To find some of the small species, we gather a bag of sand from underneath ledges and sift through it on the boat for small stuff. The larger of the two specimens known from Kwaj is 9.4mm long.
No photos of living specimens are available.
