Reticunassa rotunda (Melville & Standen, 1896)
7.35mm

The small shells are uncommonly found at night in ledges on the slopes of lagoon pinnacles, usually inhabited by hermit crabs but that is where living specimens are seen as well.

The 6.1mm specimen brought up in a sand sample from the seaward slope is almost certainly this same species.
