Natica arachnoidea (Gmelin, 1791)

Natica arachnoidea is moderately common in lagoon sand from about 6m all the way down to the lagoon bottom. Marshall Islands specimens appear to be much lighter in color that those from other areas, which probably helps them blend in with the white coral sand.
