Laevichlamys wilhelminae (Bavay, 1904)

This small, thin-shelled pecten with only fine ribs is found in lagoon Halimeda algae patches as well as under rocks on lagoon pinnacles and the seaward reef. It is reported to be variable in color, but we are not certain all our specimens figured below fall into this species.
