These have been found under rocks on lagoon reefs in about 6m and empty shells were in sand samples from about 61m on the seaward reef. These resemble Zebina tridentata but lack the prominent anterior aperture denticles characteristic of that species, but I suspect the denticles may be a variable feature and that both are the same species.

The living animal below, found in shallow water on a lagoon reef, differed in having a bit of orange color on its anterior margin, but otherwise the shell features looked the same as the deeper water specimen above.
