Latirus barclayi (Reeve, 1847)

Latirus barclayi is very common to abundant from the intertidal to at least 20m on seaward and lagoon reefs, and may be under rocks or exposed on the reef.

These lay their egg capsules attached to the undersurfaces of rocks.

Here you can see the dark individual eggs inside the capsules.
