Eratoena sulcifera (Gray in Sowerby, 1832)

Eratoena sulcifera is reasonably common at Kwajalein Atoll, usually found under rocks on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs. It is often overlooked due to its small size; most shells are 4mm or less in length.

The somewhat unusual specimen below was found by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren at Majuro Atoll.

3.35mm empty shell.
