Stomatolina sp.

There
appear to be several unidentified species of Stomatolina at Kwajalein.
They are not as flattened as Stomatella and their shells are often
distinctly spirally ridged. While we list more than 20 species, some of these
may be color forms of others we have figured. This one was under a rock on a
Kwajalein Atoll seaward reef.
The empty shell below is not the
same specimen photographed live above, and may not be the same species.
