Trochus ochroleucus Gmelin, 1791

These are very common intertidally, out near the breakers on the seaward edge of the windward reef at Kwajalein. They resemble Trochus maculatus but are a bit more squat (wider but not as tall) and have more distinct spiral cords with larger beads on the shell. We do not have a photo of a living specimen.
