Clavus
cf laetus (Hinds, 1843)
18.6mm
Clavus
cf laetus is moderately common on seaward and pinnacle reefs
at Kwajalein, usually under
rocks or exposed at night in small ledges and caves. These
shells are similar to Clavus
laetus and may be color forms of that species. There do seem to be
some minor differences in animal color between the two forms.
