Centropyge bicolor (Bloch, 1787)
Bicolor angelfish, 15cm

This strikingly-colored species is moderately common at some sites in Kwajalein Atoll. Within the southern part of the atoll, they can be seen regularly on some lagoon pinnacles, particularly the one off the island of North Loi. They are also common on the lagoon slope at Ennylabegan Island on the west reef and in rubble and low coral patches on the lagoon slope off Ebwaj on the east reef. They can be more common around some lagoon pinnacles near the middle of the atoll. Rarely, a specimen can be spotted on the seaward slope or on lagoon-bottom shipwrecks.

The fish below was on a lagoon-bottom shipwreck.
