Ostorhinchus nigrofasciatus (Lachner, 1953)
Black-striped cardinalfish, 100mm

These are usually found singly or in small groups in ledges and caves on the seaward reef.

Those below appeared to have the same markings, but more in blue than yellow. It is possible they are another species.

The one below appeared to be missing a patch of scales.
