Bandfin cardinalfish, 196mm

This Pristiapogon taeniopterus was photographed at Kwajalein in 1981 by Roger Rittmaster.

The two specimens below were photographed by Jay Lord. The first was around small coralheads in a large channel in about 6m of water at night on the seaward reef.

The next specimen was deep inside a swim through cave in about 12m on the seaward reef at dusk.
