Cirripectes polyzona (Bleeker, 1868)

This juvenile Cirripectes polyzona was photographed by Christina Sylvester in a shallow rubbly area on the lagoon side of Kwajalein's north point. The adults drop the white patches and the black longitudinal stripe and develop dark vertical bars along the body.
