Plagiotremus tapeinosoma (Bleeker, 1857)

These fangblennies are common on seaward reefs and feed on bits of skin or flesh that they nip from passing fish. They will also take a nip at bare-legged divers. It spends much time hiding in holes in the reef with only its head showing.
