Similar to Caesio caerulaurea, but the black-tipped tail fins differentiate the two species.

Swarming around a diver. There are a couple of Caesio caerulaurea mixed into this mostly Pterocaesio marri school.

Here is a mixed school of Pterocaesio marri and P. tile swimming over a large colony of Turbinaria coral on a midlagoon pinnacle.
