Five species of Fusiliers are currently known from the Marshall Islands. All are schooling planktonic feeders and can often be found in mixed schools of two or even three species. They can be seen frequently on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs, except for Pterocaesio trilineata, which seems restricted to lagoon reefs and pinnacles. Unless otherwise noted, sizes given are maximum sizes for the species listed in Fishbase, not necessarily the size of the figured specimen.
