Another questionable identification, we are basing this one on Humann & DeLoach (2010) reference to the irridescent blue ring under each eye. However, although the second photo below shows a band through the eye much like photos of A. siamensis, we have not seen Kwajalein specimens develop the distinct striped coloration over the mantle when disturbed, so it may be a related or unnamed species. It has been suggested that these have a poisonous bite, so handling is not advisable.
