Ellisella ceratophyta (Linnaeus, 1758)

This is one of what appear to be several species of Ellisella. This one typically forms stalks that branch a few times. It is usualy found on seaward and pinnacle reef slopes, most often deeper than 30m or so. This Ellisella is sometimes preyed upon by the ovulid shell Aclyvolva sp. The photos below may not all be the same species.
