Dascyllus aruanus (Linnaeus, 1758)
Humbug or whitetail damsel, 10cm

These damsels are abundant around branching coral on lagoon reefs. The common name whitetail damsel is sometimes used to distinguish it from a very similar looking species called a blacktail damsel (Dascyllus melanurus), which appears to be very rare at Kwajalein.
