Pseudoceros cf dimidiatus Graff, 1893
50mm

This distinctive, easily recognized species is figured in Newman & Cannon (2003) under this name, the "cf" indicating that it still needs comparison with the real Pseudoceros dimidiatus, which has a different color pattern. This is typically found crawling in the open or in ledges on seaward and lagoon pinnacle reefs, and its distinctive pattern probably indicates it is poisonous or distasteful to predators.
