These tiny dark, dark green (appearing black) flatworms are sporadically abundant, sometimes clustering in groups on the green colonial tunicate shown in this photo. We have seen them on lagoon pinnacles and seaward reefs, always on their tunicate. The ID is highly uncertain, with the family indicated only by the anterior folds and shape of the eye spot.
This one found by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren at Majuro appears to eat the same tunicate and could be the same species.
