If these are all the same species, there is evidently quite a bit of variation in color. We have seen these in rocky areas on both lagoon and seaward reefs.

This one from Majuro Atoll from Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren has a bit different look. It could be a young individual, or possibly another species.
