This pipefish is rare in the Marshalls. The two individuals below were photographed on soft coral at night on an Enewetak Atoll lagoon pinnacle in September, 1983.
Several individuals were found at night by Stan Jazwinski on the seaward reef near the west end of Kwajalein Island.
