Echinaster luzonicus (Gray, 1840)

Echinaster luzonicus is relatively common under rocks on lagoon and seaward reefs. The specimens here in the Marshalls seem smaller and have a bit different appearance that those we have seen in Indonesia. These seem to vary in arm number more than many other seastar species.

This is probably a very small Echinaster luzonicus.
