This unidentified Fromia sp. is uncommon, most often found under rocks on lagoon pinnacles and reefs. Considering the variability in stars, it could be a color form of the yellow spotted Fromia species. It also has some color similarity to the Red Sea and western Indian Ocean species Fromia ghardaqana.
